| Description: | As a member of the Golf Operations team, the Ranger/Starter will be responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and courteous service to all guests at Mystic Rock and The Links at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. |
| Duties: | Monitoring tee times.
Monitoring pace of play and reporting back to Golf Service Assistant/Golf Operations Leader/Pro Shop.
Assisting with inspection of carts and courses for defects.
Communicating to Golf Operations Leader or Manager any issues to include carts, guests complaints, associate issues, etc.
Maintaining knowledge of available merchandise (in pro shop), course conditions, rates, hours of operation for golf ops as well as all outlets throughout the resort.
Communicating often with Golf Service Assistant as to what groups have teed off, what tee times you are still waiting on, if the first tee is running on time or open.
Working knowledge of the sport of golf; general terminology.
Handling walk-up golfers or same day call-ins.
Managing the tee sheet.
Maintaining knowledge of 2000 acre resort in regards to giving directions to guests.
Assisting with tournament operations as needed.
Assisting with outside operations as needed to include Caddiemaster.
Communicating with golf ops staff and turfgrass staff professionally and clearly using our hand-held two-way radios.
Communicating effectively with all departments throughout the resort.

| Qualifications: | Candidate must have the ability to speak English fluently.
Candidate must have the ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Valid driver�s license required.
Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
Candidate must have the ability to speak professionally to guests, around guests and likewise with all departments at the resort.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. |
