Cashier - PJ's

Description:To provide professional food and beverage service for our guests while adhering to grooming standards, uniform standards and other policies and procedures outlined in the Nemacolin Associate Handbook.
Duties:Ensures that the resort customer service standards are maintained at an exceptional level.

The cashier must always portray a professional manner including appearance, identification, and general conduct at all times.

Makes a positive contribution to the work environment through presentation of positive attitude, demonstration of cooperation and teamwork, and constructive approach to daily events.

Attend all mandatory departmental meetings and training classes as scheduled by respective managers.

Comply with all hotel and cash handling policies and procedures. Follow guidelines as stated in the training manuals.

Attendance: Follows established procedures for early notification (check employee handbook) and divisional no fault policy for late/absence.

Punctuality: Arrives to work at scheduled times and works until authorized to leave.

Reports any potential safety hazards to management immediately.

Check the surroundings of the Food and Beverage outlet to make sure everything is in proper order: (Example lights, temperature, music and cleanliness of the room). Notify supervisor and/or manager of any defects.

Perform all tasks assigned by the manager (side-work, cleaning etc.)

Inspect to make sure that the assigned tables are properly set and free of any soiled items. (Silverware, tablecloths, sugar caddies, B&B plates, centerpieces, S&P shakers etc.)

Attend daily stand up meeting and be knowledgeable of any Group Outings or special Requirements for any Guest.

Have a very detailed knowledge of all items on the menus.

Provide prompt and courteous service to all guests at all times.

Follow all service standards as mentioned in the training manuals.

Must adhere to company�s grooming and appearance standards.
Qualifications:At least 18 years of age, high school diploma,

Possess excellent verbal communication skills and very customer orientated individuals required. Fast paced work environment.

Ability to meet all deadlines as directed, work well under pressure, ability to work unusually long or odd hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, be multi-tasked, excellent inter-personal skills, and fluent in the English language
