| Description: | Obtains reservation book from central reservationist. Makes out floor plan and charts seating for evening. Confirms parties of five or more, one day out. Greets guests at entrance. Seats guests at appropriate tables; ensures them that the server will be with them promptly. Informs server of special occasion in their station. Answers phone and takes reservations. Performs other reasonable requests of management when asked. |
| Duties: | Preparation ofvarious forms, such as floor plan and seating chart, ready for shift
Knowledgeable of floor plan and table locations
Greeting customers at entrance of restaurant with friendly, enthusiastic attitude
Seating guests at best available table of appropriate size
Making sure special needs of customers are addressed
Inform appropriate server of number and selection location of guests
Inform appropriate server of special occasions, such as birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, etc
Answer phone and take reservations
Knowledge of menus for all outlets

| Qualifications: | Must be 18 years or older.
Must be friendly and outgoing.
Need to possess excellent communication skills; must interact effectively with both staff and guests.
Must be able to handle some pressure (high-volume days).
Must be able to assist servers in any way needed to increase guest satisfaction; assist with light housekeeping and cleaning in areas needed; pay close attention to entrance to ensure guests get prompt attention.
Customer service experience.
Prior restaurant experience preferred.
Must be able to speak English.
Must be able to work variable hours, including holidays, weekends, and nights.
Additional Requirements
Provide all guests with prompt attention by acknowledging them immediately upon entry and by displaying a sense of urgency while anticipating and satisfying their initial seating needs (exterior/interior; smoking/non-smoking; window/aisle). Overall flow of restaurant.
