Caddy Shack Bartender

Description:To provide the highest quality of beverage service to guests. The bartender will conduct themselves in the most professional and responsible manner with a can-do attitude at all times. He/she will have excellent grooming and uniform standards and follow all other policies set forth by the associate handbook of Nemacolin Woodlands Resort.
Duties:Ensures that the resort customer service standards are exhibited for the internal and external guests maintained at an exceptional level.

Possess knowledge of all alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink recipes needed to meet and exceed guests� expectations.

Serve beverages in a quick and cost effective manner.

Follow all SOP�s (standard operating procedures) and guidelines set forth by the banquet leadership team.

Present self in a professional manner. This includes but is not limited to the following: appearance and grooming standards, guest recognition and general conduct at all times. Make positive contribution to the work environment through the demonstration of teamwork, maintaining a positive attitude and by taking a productive approach to each catered event.

Attend mandatory departmental meetings and training classes as scheduled by banquet management.

Attend any pre-shift, post-shift or other meeting associated with a catered event.

Arrive for their shift on time and be dressed in their proper uniform.

Understand and follow all instructions on GEO�s.

Perform all pre-function and post function duties as outlined in the banquet-training manual.

Provide prompt and courteous service to both internal and external guests at all times. The bartender will adhere to all resort policies and procedures.

Participate in any task that the banquet leadership team deems necessary.
Qualifications:High school diploma is required

Prior knowledge and experience of beverage service is required.

Possess excellent verbal communication skills, be outgoing in personality and be highly guest oriented.

Minimum age requirement is 21 years old

Ability to work in a fast paced environment and remain calm under pressure while maintaining five star service standards is required.

TIPS training or any state certified beverage service certification is suggested but not required.

Knowledge of Micros or cash register operations is suggested. Some circumstances may involve the use of a cash bank.

Basic mathematical skills.

Must be able to speak English.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and ability to stand for duration of 8-10 hours a day.
