| Description: | Serve alcoholic drinks to guests and servers for guests. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area. Interact with guests. Open and close the bar and all aspects that it entails. |
| Duties: | Utilizing Micros systems.
Adhering to Resort safety practices and procedures.
Cleaning and sanitizing bar areas.
Maintaining specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the bar.
Maintaining Food and Alcohol Knowledge.
Notifying management of hazardous conditions.
Serving Food and Beverage.
Serving Alcohol safely and responsibly.
Checking identification of guests to ensure they are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages.
Preparing fruits and garnishes for drinks.
Maintaining cash bank and making cash drop.
Ordering supplies needed for next day.
Utilizing appropriate verbiage in accordance with Forbes standards to communicate with guests. |
| Qualifications: | Must be 18 years or older.
Must be friendly and outgoing.
Needs to possess excellent communicative skills.
Must be able to work variable hours, including holidays, nights and weekends.
Must be willing to perform other reasonable requests of management.
Must have successfully completed or be willing to complete a mandatory Intervention Procedural Training Program in the handling of intoxicated guests.
Computer knowledge preferred.
Knowledge of mixing and preparing a variety of drinks.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and ability to stand for duration of 8-10 hours a day.
Knowledge of Forbes standards preferred.
Must be able to speak English. |
